Any Friend of Diane's is the sixth episode of Season 1 of Cheers. It was written by Ken Levine and David Isaacs, and directed by James Burrows. It originally aired on NBC on 4 November 1982.
Synopsis[]
Diane's friend is visiting, and she takes an interest in Sam. Meanwhile, Norm is playing host to his boss. Norm asks the "Coach" to act like he doesn't know him when his boss comes in.
